About TGBATG
What this is
TGBATG is a YouTube channel (@tgbatg) and this companion website about off-grid and backup power: LiFePO4 batteries, inverters and inverter-chargers, charge controllers, solar panels, monitoring gear and the cables and parts that tie a system together. The site collects the channel's 246 videos (2020–2026), 91 of them Shorts, each with its description, a transcript and the products shown in it.
Who we are
TGBATG stands for To God Be All The Glory. We are tinkerers: we build, run and test the gear ourselves, and the videos and notes on this site show what we did and what we saw. Not every video documents a test or a check. Please do not treat any of it as instructions or as a recommendation for your own installation; see Safety below.
What you will find
- Batteries – LiFePO4, lithium batteries, battery banks, and BMS systems (150 videos)
- Inverters – Victron, EG4, and split-phase inverter systems (22 videos)
- Chargers – MPPT charge controllers, PWM, and Tesla charging solutions (7 videos)
- Solar Panels – Solar panel installation, arrays, and optimization (6 videos)
- System Components – Monitors, displays, cables, breakers, and accessories (12 videos)
- Technology – Starlink, heat pumps, mini splits, and smart systems (22 videos)

Product pages gather every video that features one product, so you can see how it is used and what is said about it across the channel.
How products and links are presented
Our product videos and notes reflect our own experience; they are not recommendations or instructions, and results will vary. This site does not sell anything: links go to the store's own page, where price, stock and checkout belong to the store.
Some of those links are affiliate links. TGBATG participates in the Signature Solar affiliate program (run through GoAffPro) and in the Amazon Associates program, and may earn a commission if you buy through a link, at no extra cost to you. Every affiliate link is marked as such where it appears, and the full statements are in the footer of every page. When a store stops selling a product, the page says so instead of keeping a dead buy button.
Safety
Batteries and mains electricity can cause serious injury, fire and death. Everything here is educational. A video shows what we built or used, as we did it; it is not a design for your installation, and not every video documents a test or a check. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and local electrical codes, and use a licensed electrician where the work or permits require one.

To God Be All The Glory.

No. TGBATG is a video channel and information site. Purchases happen on the store's website.
Do your links cost me more?
No. The price is the same; the store may pay us a commission.
