Cracked and Flex sprayed solar panel still delivers more than 300 watts | Fix Solar with Flex Spray

all right so this right here is a helium 385 watt panel um it's been cracked it's cracked it's been damaged and shipping and you can see some of the cracks if you look closely or if you look at it you can see the spider webs going up in through here I mean just look at it it's cracked pretty much everywhere it's just a bunch of grainy spider webs if it looks a little matte it's mainly because if you're trying to move it um from where it was and little bits of glass were just coming off everywhere and what we did was we took some Flex glue or the clear Flex spray mainly because that's what we had and then we just tried to coat the panel not really well but just in a quick in a hurry to move it to be able to move it so that the glass wasn't just going everywhere so this is what it looks like um it's a three it's a 485 watt panel if I remember we'll throw the model number up in the descriptions but if you want to take a look at the cracks look at it there you go look at the very bad spray of the flex clear sprayer we got going in on there um it's not at it's often an angle if you look at the uh Shadow you can obviously tell that but we have it plugged in right now to a Delta mini and we're gonna see how well or how much it's actually coming off of this thing so if you look at it right now this Delta mini it was just charging at about 3 300 320. the sun's kind of going down now when the sun comes back up it'll go back up to maybe about 3 20 35 40 I think I saw that's not at its Optimum angle and it's with a coating of clear Flex spray on it so obviously you know that's going to impact the performance but we're gonna at least throw this out there because they cracked 385 watt helium panel with a flex glue coating on it will get you still about 300 watts uh solar charging at least on this Delta Mini
